Create Art to Keep or Create to Sell
Keep It
All the dinnerware sets pictured were created at the Round Hill Pottery Collective and kept for personal use. While it is not possible to make dinnerware sets in a single Experience, it is possible to do so in a series of lessons.
The other possibilities are endless for making ceramic work to keep for yourself!
Sell It
One of the distinctives of the Round Hill Pottery Collective is how members help others sell their work. As a successful commercial ceramic artist with a national following, member JeanElton leads this (her work which has been featured in national catalogs -- that is shown in the film clip, along with Wendy Kaufman, who has successfully sold her totems). The Collective goes to shows together, has an agreement with a local distributor for selling the Collective’s ceramic tiles and is in discussions with local retailers about carrying the work of Collective members. If you have ever considered learning how to make and sell ceramics, take some lessons with us, or join the Collective!
